Who I Am

Goofy, discombobulated, unorthodox, I have no structured way to tell the tale of how I got to this point in life. Closest I can come is that I like to piddle (to spend time in a wasteful, trifling or ineffective way). What ever comes to mind that inspires me to create, is the direction I go. We have all heard of the “Absent minded professor.” Bingo, that’s me.

What I Do

Employed as an Iron worker for the past thirty four years, I still enjoy every day I am able to do what I love to do, Create.

For most of my life I have created steel products for a living. Everything from nuclear Submarines, star wars projects and magnetic response imaging (MRI) manufacturing to make shift metal sculptures and kiln making.

Mission Statement

It was  February, 2005 at the UCSD craft center when I first sat down at a potters wheel. Events in life had stripped me of my passion for rock climbing and forced me to seek out a new adventure. Unbeknownst to me, I had found a joy beyond any I had known to date.
